Evan Sallee joins W. Michael Garner as of Counsel

W. Michael Garner is pleased to announce that Evan Sallee has joined the firm as Of Counsel.   Evan graduated from Northwestern University School of Law in 2012. He served as a Senior Articles Editor for the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology and was the Co-President of Northwestern’s chapter of the American Constitution Society. Evan graduated in 2006 from Carleton College where he majored in Political Science / International Relations and was a captain of the school’s rugby team.

Prior to joining W. Michael Garner, P.A., Evan worked as a Law Fellow with Mid Minnesota Legal Assistance focusing on consumer protection litigation. He developed a broad range of experience primarily with plaintiff-side litigation. Working in both Federal and State court, he litigated to help clients keep their homes and recover funds that were lost due to fraud.

Evan Sallee’s law practice has also focuses on representing small and start-up companies. He has worked on entity formation, raising capital, and regulatory compliance. Also the co-founder and  CEO of Fair State Brewing Cooperative, Evan has experience in matters relating to the alcoholic beverage and distribution industries.   He will strengthen the firm’s growing practice in representing breweries, distilleries, alcoholic beverage distributors and those in related industries.

Between college and law school, Evan spent six months bicycling across Europe before returning to Minnesota to work as a Technical Support Engineer working with enterprise-level firewalls.
